Dominique Ansel, Soho
This is by far the busiest French bakery in the entire United States. It seems that anyone visiting NYC knows about Dominique Ansel’s artistic creations. I’ve never seen such a line for the privilege of tasting a French inspired cakes, pastries, tarts… I admired the colorful display without having the patience to wait in line. I have to admit that I stopped in a few other bakeries before I visited this one, so I already had my share of sugar high. If you happen to come by in a day when there are no lines, I think that you would be in heaven.
